Founder Richard Moshenek is a project management expert whose vision for Pacer came to life in 2009. After decades in the hospitality industry opening and managing large-scale, global projects, Rich was frustrated with the management software available to him and his team. Too many were built with simple projects in mind which often defaulted to static solutions like spreadsheets to manage project tasks. Nothing on the market offered project management that overcame the roadblock of complex project contingencies and top-down, single source control resulting in increased costs, frequent delays, missed steps, and duplicated efforts. So, Rich set out to design a software that did.
Under its original name EHSolution, the software quickly replaced redundant, out-of-date checklists and tools for overwhelmed managers around the world. Our first products 4MyRollout, Critical Path, and Marriott’s Land-It, began in hospitality, assisting in multi-location initiatives, primarily hotel pre-opening and opening projects.
In 2021, EHSolution decided to rebrand to become Pacer. A bold new name with the same great solutions offering leaders the ability to create, launch, manage, and measure global initiatives with consistency and confidence.
Pacer believes in cyclical learning, the capability to constantly evolve best practices and project efficiencies. Our products reflect this and allow that knowledge to be easily shared with immediate and distant colleagues working on similar initiatives. Pacer is able to harness learnings from every successful task across your organization to help inform what you are working on right now.
Pacer is about all of our stakeholders. Each stakeholder has a different “need” from a project. Location teams want to know what they need to do to stay on pace. The C-suite wants to outpace the competition, and brand leaders want to stay on pace with customer expectations. We strive to help each of those stakeholders stay on pace for their individual needs.
